94 degrees today means we're going to break down and turn the A/C on. We usually like to wait until, say, Independence Day. We've officially gone soft. :-)
The OWNit365.com plan covered one of the chapters I'll be speaking on this weekend: 1 Samuel 13. Here's what I got today:
- Prayer is one of the core requirements for a godly leader (1Sam 12:23)
- God is looking for people who make God's directions their priority (1Sam 13:14)
- The CHARACTER of a teammate matters as much as SKILL. Unfaithful teammates will let you down in painful ways (Prov 25:19)
- Removing the primary source of negativity & strife from a group can raise its morale & productivity overnight (Prov 26:20)
I am pretty sure we had our AC turned on at some point in February...then heat, then AC, then heat, etc, etc... Waiting 'til the 90's is a real commitment to frugality, or insanity...I'm not sure :)
